By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan take to the field tonight knowing that a win against Cagliari would officially secure their return to the Champions League.

With Zlatan Ibrahimovic to only injury problem to deal with, Stefano Pioli can call on a strong starting XI. Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport has Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal protected by a back four of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez from right to left.

Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie will be the midfield double pivot with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Hakan Calhanoglu as the trident behind Ante Rebic, who will look to build on his 12-minute hat-trick in midweek as the centre-forward in Ibrahimovic’s absence.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): G. Donnarumma; Calabria, Kajer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Diaz, Calhnoglu; Rebic.

Probable Cagliari XI (4-3-1-2: Cragno; Zappa, Ceppitelli, Godin, Lykogiannis; Nandez, Deiola, Marin; Nainggolan; Joao Pedro, Pavoletti.
