GdS: Terracciano to make first start for Milan against Roma – his position

Filippo Terracciano was announced by AC Milan earlier this week and he came off the bench in the mid-week clash against Atalanta. As per a report, the youngster could make his first start for the Rossoneri against Roma tomorrow.

Milan secured the signing of Terraciano on Monday as the 20-year-old signed a four-and-a-half-year deal with the club. He got to make his debut for the club in the Coppa Italia clash against Atalanta on Wednesday, coming off the bench.

As reported by Gazzetta dello Sport (see photo below), Terracciano is set to make his first league appearance and start for Milan tomorrow. The Rossoneri will take on Roma and Stefano Pioli wants to keep Theo Hernandez at centre-back, starting Terracciano on the left instead.

The youngster Alex Jimenez is an option but he didn’t have a good evening against Atalanta, causing the penalty and struggling in defence. Therefore, with a bit more experience, Pioli will most likely opt for the former Verona man instead.

The pressure is on Pioli and his men to bounce back with a strong performance, in front of a sold-out San Siro as well. It will be interesting to see how the new signing will cope, in other words.
