GdS: Tomori convinces the management and the fans – Milan to seek a discount from Chelsea

By Oliver Fisher -

Fikayo Tomori has managed to convince everyone and will remain at AC Milan beyond the end of the season if all goes to plan, a report claims.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) writes, Tomori arrived on loan with a €28m option to buy from Chelsea in January and has impressed the whole Rossoneri environment, even if he did not arrive with the intention of becoming an instant starter.

The club are working to sign the English defender permanently, who today talked about the Scudetto fight like this: “It was easy to settle in, they were all so friendly. The distance from Inter is great, but I don’t see why we shouldn’t believe it until the end. Returning to the Champions League is an excellent target, but as players you have to keep thinking about the big target. And we know we can do something special.”

Despite the economic situation that complicates transfer market operations, Milan still intend to sign Tomori from Chelsea. It cannot be ruled out that the Rossoneri may negotiate a discount with the Blues, but with Simon Kjaer he found a perfect understanding that has made Milan’s defence more solid.
