Atletico Madrid forward Angel Correa is finally closing in on a move to Milan after weeks of speculation, a report claims.
The LaLiga side look all but certain to sign Rodrigo Morena from Valencia in €60m deal, meaning that they would have to sell Correa to collect funds.
Argentinian journalist Cristian Camiño claimed on Tuesday that the latter was close to completion and that a deal to send Correa to Milan had almost been formalised at €55m.
Correa’s agent is believed to have travelled to Italy in order to complete the transfer, and now Il Giornale offer an update on the affair.
They claim that after weeks of rumours and contacts between the clubs and the player’s agent, the deal is finally ready to unlock.
They go on to state that Correa is in fact ‘very close’ to joining Milan, though a transfer fee is not mentioned.
