Goal: Chelsea defender almost certain to join Milan permanently – player happy to stay

By Oliver Fisher -

Fikayo Tomori is virtually certain to remain at AC Milan and sign on a permanent basis this summer, according to one journalist.

Tomori joined the Rossoneri in the January transfer window on a loan with option to buy deal and so far he has been hugely impressive, establishing himself in the starting XI at the expense of Alessio Romagnoli leading to strong speculation that the management will use their option to buy him.

According to Goal.com’s Chelsea reporter Nizaar Kinsella (via ACMilanFR), Tomori will certainly be a Milan player next year, but no discount on the option to buy is possible despite rumours that Mialn will look to negotiate it down.

Not only that, but Kinsella adds that Tomori is also a fan of the possibility of staying at Milan after his loan spell expires, which we can infer means he is happy with how his first few months have gone.
