Guardian: Milan keen on another Chelsea winger in addition to Pulisic

AC Milan are among the teams monitoring the situation of Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi, according to a report.

According to a report from The Guardian, it is Fulham, Milan and Nottingham Forest who have registered interest in signing Hudson-Odoi, He is expected to leave Chelsea this summer as part of a mass clear-out.

The 22-year-old would apparently be available for £15m which is around €17m after a season spent on loan at Bayer Leverkusen. There has been interest from Saudi Arabia too, but the Saudi Pro League is not a priority for the player who wishes to stay in Europe.

Milan have been in intense talks with Chelsea all summer and have agreed a deal for midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek already, while the report also mentions Christian Pulisic as a concrete target too.

Hudson-Odoi came through Chelsea’s academy and was close to joining Bayern Munich in 2019 and 2020 which prompted the Blues to give him a five-year deal in 2019 which now has just a year to run.

    1. Leverkusen, where he was playing last season actually did qualify for European Football. Maybe educate yourself before talking.

    2. Last year Chelsea was in turmoil, the club was unable to pay for couple of months if I remember correctly and the owner need to sell the club because of war, and the new owner suddenly buy lots of overpriced wonderkids, and with price comes the pressure to play them. With new manager that changed in the middle of season to a more inexperienced manager.

Basically they were a mess last season. It would be more a surprise if they did well, but a bad season won’t make you suddenly a bad player.

    3. I think Hudson-Odoi is an excellent player and if got at the right price he could be a great bargain.

If you got this lad and Mason Greenwood on the cheap you are laughing.

If Fraulani could pull those signings off it would be very impressive as well as proving his competence.

  1. Talented guy who I was surprised to see struggle at Leverkusen – doubt he has access to an EU passport though, so this doesn’t sound genuine – suspect he’ll stay in England.

If there is a Chelsea outcast I’d like to see… Ethan Ampadu; two years in Serie A and one of the best rated players at each club, available for loan or cheap and would add some DM and CB cover. Again, probably no EU passport though.

  2. Well Bartholomeo has long Cardinale owns AC Milan this are the players we are signing.Wen the talks about moneyball started i could already see another banter era or worst coming to our beloved club lets hope this dumb owner gets bored of the club and sells to someone that knowns what is doing!

    1. Yeah same feeling here, just stockpile some pretty FUT names that offer no guarantee at all in the real world. That’s what we meant when we said it’s a step back, it’s like we’re back several years ago. The previous front staff wanted to fill the voids with Berardi and Milinkovic-Savic but now we have even more holes and we have to say amen to some mf from Wall Street who is only interested in building a stadium.

  3. Hudson odoi is far from being trash…I watch epl at lot..he is very good …Bayern even wanted him seriously at some point…it was unfortunate that his loan move last season to Leverkusen didn’t work out

  4. We cant afford dead certs. Odoi at 15m is a risk, but thats where we are these days. Id also throw 10m or so at Man utd for Greenwood.

  5. Greenwood is a rapist. Give your heads a shake. CHO made 1 assist and 0 goals in 14 games for Leverkusen last season. Messias is Pele in comparison.
