Tuttosport: Guida and Massa errors anger Milan but they must not lose focus

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have not had the rub of the green with several refereeing decisions this season, and they are now being affected through other games too.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) reports how the duo of Marco Guida and Davide Massa have cost the Rossoneri, as the pair were at fault on Sunday night when Torino should have won against Inter but they had a penalty to make it 2-0 rejected when there was clear contact.

Massa was also the referee for the infamous game against Napoli at San Siro earlier in the season when Giroud was punished for offside despite laying almost motionless, and then Guida was the VAR chief when Udogie scored Udinese’s equaliser at San Siro with his arm. Obviously, Serra’s oversight in the match against Spezia must also be included.

These are very serious errors that have cost Milan several points., but now the Rossoneri must transform anger into a positive force because if these decisions are allowed to weight mentally, there is a risk losing sight of the main objective: defending top spot.

    1. They should be banned for the rest of the season as it should be the teams & players who decide the scudetto – not referees!
