Winger Jens Petter Hauge described himself as ‘very happy’ as he got his first AC Milan goal in Thursday’s 3-1 win over Celtic.
It has been a fairytale few weeks for the 21-year-old who has now scored both for and against Milan in the same competition, having made the move from Bodo/Glimt following the second qualifying round game at San Siro.

Many thought Hauge might start the game against Celtic given the injury to Ante Rebic, but he was forced to make do with a spot on the bench though came on in a tricky moment with the score having just moved to 2-1.
The game was sealed towards the end of added time though and it was a fantastic moment for Hauge. The Norwegian stole in behind the defence and manage to hold off pressure to slot under the onrushing Barkas and make it 3-1.
Hauge was interviewed by Sky Italia after the game, with his comments transcribed by MilanNews and translated below.
On the goal: “I’m very happy for the team’s victory, then I scored a goal, I’m very happy.”
On the match: “We started very well, thanks to my team-mates, it was nice to see the team at rest with a nice advantage, but if you lose concentration the other team can recover.
“So it happened, they halved the disadvantage, but I’m really happy with the way we finished, with my 3-1 goal.”
