It has been 18 months since Zlatan Ibrahimovic arrived for his third spell at AC Milan. Now, there are talks that he could leave again.
Still, no one knows what Ibrahimovic really does. It is an extreme situation, worsened by the failings of Milan in other areas. However, the Swede should, in the minds of many, be helping to fix and overcome these errors.

Yet, there is no real clarity on his role and how far his power goes. More so since February, when Gerry Cardinale stripped him of his powers.
Quotidiano Sportivo, this morning, writes that Ibra is under great scrutiny from every direction. However, the largest pressure comes from the fans, who, at one point, adored him. Now, there are repetitive questions about his role and his ideas.
Earlier this season, Zlatan was ever-present, visible to everyone, everywhere. Though in recent months, he has disappeared into the background. It goes beyond this, though.
This season, the Rossoneri are to end the season in red, but they have nothing to show for it. The sustainability method has finally taken a hit, and there are no signs of its success. Payment, perhaps, for the over-reliance of the idea.
Instead of preventing this, though, the former striker is being accused of failing to change the club’s mind. Reinforcing the need for quality investment, rather than cheap purchases to tick boxes in accounts. Of course, there was no straying from the latter, which some find him guilty of.
Now, there is a chance that his role could be further diminished by the club, something which would make his departure ‘inevitable’. How wrong it has gone in 18 months, from a work and personal perspective. There can be no denying that his third spell has tarnished his work in the first two…

Not only money matters. I think he did it to try to help because he really love Milan. But maybe he got in a little too deep waters before he could swim well enough. his ego can be a blesssing and a giant burden. In this case I would say it is probably a burden, where humility would have been a better way.
‘he wanted to help’ – yes, his sons to get minutes in the youth ranks. if his task was to bring joy and motivation to the team, i have to say Florenzi did a way better job.
Ibrahimovic has never been known for wisdom and class! His bravado has been his undoing! He fell for that trap of been a maldini-esque influence but we milanismo won’t have none óf that bullshit! The more he tried to show his skill the more empty he appears! He made mouth about Fonseca, swallowed his word around December, was sure about conceicao, now disappeared for his failure, fired abate for bonera, that also became a disaster, hired kirovski for the futuro; the outcome was relegation to serie-D, had problem with the sporting director ( D`ottavio) deemed his work irrelevant , now his co-conspirators had realised the position of sporting director was indispensable! Everything he touches turns sour! He is nothing but a disaster and Maldini must be smiling now for the farce this comical management are.
Again, if we’re giving the same grace to Maldini we should do the same here to Ibra. He’s relatively new in the role but the decision making so far I have to say have not been much to be desired. He still has lots to learn and I would have liked to see that he’s showing growth. But I get the feeling he’s going to be scapegoated by the Weasel.
Zlatan is part of the same problem – incompetence at every level. From his idiotic interviews, to the nosedive that Futuro took. Now The Lion is silent as apparently the “kittens” are in charge.
Ibra was a great player but he is an incompetent manager and a buffoon. He fired Abate because Abate didn’t give enough playing time to his son, resulting in Milan Futuro’s relegation to Serie D after wasting $15 million dollars. He needs to be fired asap.
Maldini and co made mistakes but they were a lot better than current management, I’m glad Tare is here hopefully he will succeed we need it now

If Ibrahimović has any resemblance of dignity and respect for himself and the club, he would resign from his position and not just wait for his expulsion.
He was gifted a position that he should have never had, a position that was very ambiguous as no one (not even himself I think) understoof what was exactly his role.
Since we have now acquired a sporting director who should, in theory, deal with targeting players and negociating with them, the ambiguous position of Ibrahimović is even less needed now.
Even a man of his ego should understand that his position and role are completely obsolete and that in the span of around a year, he managed to do more harm than good and thus take the logicial step which is to resign and no longer be part of this comic (but not funny) show.
Ibra should resign.
The whole point of having an ex-player beloved by the fans in management is to have someone there on the inside who will call out the bullshit by the business-first money people.
But Ibra doesn’t do this! He should have been a spokesman for the fans — someone who advocates winning instead over making money — but instead he became a spokesman for the money people. He did exactly the opposite of what he should have done. It’s embarrassing, and now the team is both poor AND losing. He should resign in shame.
