Il Cittadino: Negotiations between Milan and Sportlifecity continue over new stadium site

AC Milan want to build their own new stadium and they are pushing to find a solution in San Donato, according to a report.

According to reports from Il Cittadino (via MilanNews) this morning, Milan are indeed now looking to construct their own new state of the art home stadium separate from Inter and the San Francesco area of San Donato Milanese is one of the options.

Negotiations are ongoing between the club and the owner of the land Sportlifecity, which in recent weeks has already signed a preliminary agreement regarding the sale of the plans to the Rossoneri.

We have written at length about the San Donato area and the proposed new site for the construction of the stadium in a recent feature for our Substack.

Essentially, the spot is between the beginning of the eastern ring road of Milan and the junction that allows those arriving from the A1 motorway to enter the city, meaning it has high visibility.
