AC Milan and Inter are competing to sign talented young goalkeeper Francesco Plaia from Spezia, according to a report.
According to a report from Il Secolo XIX (via FCInterNews), the two Milanese clubs have in fact joined the race for a young and promising goalkeeper who plays for Spezia as the Nerazzurri and Rossoneri are following closely and much to near the performance of Francesco Plaia.
He is currently the starting goalkeeper for the Ligurian side’s Primavera team but he is also part of the Italian youth national teams too which shows the amount of promise that he has. It is also therefore likely that he would be a signing for Ignazio Abate’s Primavera with a view to a future first team role.
The 16-year-old was born in Brussels but is of Italian nationality, is 192cm tall and is now a constant in the Italy U17 squad, even though he will not celebrate his 17th birthday until 29 March next year.
