AC Milan want to sign not one but two strikers this summer to complete the attack, and Ciro Immobile is gaining momentum as an idea.
According to Calciomercato.com, Milan have decided to renew the attack in the coming weeks. The goal of the sporting director Igli Tare is to give Massimiliano Allegri at least two new faces, who should join Santiago Gimenez.

At the moment the Mexican is not 100% sure of remaining either, even if seeing him leave six months after his arrival from Feyenoord for €32m seems unlikely. Much will depend on the offers that will arrive, but Milan have not put the Mexican on the market.
Immobile the latest name
Everyone has a price, no one is truly untouchable. Milan’s guideline has been clear for some time, but Allegri has had guarantees about next year’s team, which will fight only for domestic objectives.
Regardless of Gimenez’s future, reinforcements will arrive, one of these could be Dusan Vlahovic, whose contract expires in 2026 and who is leaving Juventus. At the moment there are no negotiations underway, but the Serbian is very close to Max, so the Rossoneri are an option.
The main problem is economic: in addition to the cost of the player, which should not exceed €25m, there is the big salary that the former Fiorentina player earns in Turin, around €12m net per season. Definitely beyond the Rossoneri’s parameters.
In addition to Vlahovic, Tare has Mateo Retegui and Darwin Nunez on the list as possible alternatives. The Capocannoniere winner costs at least €50m, while the Uruguayan – who will leave Liverpool – has a lower price.
Among the names to consider, as a third striker in the squad, is that of Ciro Immobile. The 35-year-old has not lost his habit of scoring even in Turkey (19 goals in 41 games), but after just one season in Istanbul he wants to return to Italy.
His agents have spoken to Milan, the strong bond with Tare since his time at Lazio is a factor to consider, but as of today his arrival is not to be considered a priority. The parties will talk about it later, but it is a potential low-cost option to keep in mind.

Puli and Alexis would be great but I can’t just see Leao playing that low… maybe SS if now LW, but definitely not LM
so it’s either adding an extra ST and LMs to shopping list or being a normal team and finally fix fullback and midfield situation first…
Dodo, deCuyper, Ricci, Jashiri, Xhaka, and Modric… whoever Allegri wants can follow after we spent our money properly
Milan are behind
I am content with making an attempt at renewing the team. I get it that some huge names will depart, obviously I would have liked to see Maignan stay. However, I ‘m concerned about the delays. Last summer there was a myriad of rumors, nearly none of which came into fruition. I choose to put my faith in the new coach, because I have seen him get results, not because of the football he makes the team play. Having said that, he needs to picks his core players and receive reinforcements promptly, if we are to hope for good placement next season.
This is the “Italianization” RedBird had in mind. Fringe and washed up Italians good for the list only.
Name the list of Italian players that Milan should bring?
Maybe start with Lucca over Immobile?

It’s going to be the slowest team ever, and a rebuild will be needed again next season. It’s a penny wise pound foolish kind of rebuild so far. It may not even be penny wise at all, just pound foolish all round.
For now there is no new player, but just departure of Raijnders… we need wait and hope this year they know what they doing

All I can say is he better not. I didn’t even like over rated immobile at 25 and certainly don’t want him taking up room on this team at 35
Immobile was crap in his physical prime, let alone aged 35. Milan would do better to re-sign George Weah.
Ciro & Tammy for backup are more than enough
Immobile is an excellent striker and Milan should bring him. Is he old? Ok, yes, but Giroud was also 35 years old when we brought him, so he led us to the Scudetto.
