AC Milan fans have ridiculed the idea that the club could send captain Alessio Romagnoli to Liverpool in a swap deal for Naby Keita.
It was reported by Tuttosport (via milanlive.it) on Saturday that Jurgen Klopp gas targeted the Romagnoli in view of the summer transfer market. Liverpool are looking for a profile to complement Van Dijk and the German coach wants the Italy international.
The Premier League leaders have even formulated a plan to snatch the 25-year-old from the San Siro: a swap deal including Naby Keita, former Salzburg and Leipzig midfielder chosen directly by likely future Milan coach Ralf Rangnick.
Liverpool would like a straight swap deal with a valuation of €40million for both players. However it would be fair to say that the majority of fans are against the idea, with plenty of reaction on social media below…
