90min: Inter also in talks with entourage of Liverpool striker but Milan are on pole

Liverpool striker Divock Origi is in talks with both AC Milan and Inter over a potential free transfer, according to a report.

According to 90min, Origi has told Liverpool that he wants to try a new experience after over five years at Anfield and he is talking to Milan and Inter over a move. The Belgian has often been a bench or rotation player under Jurgen Klopp and he has just 71 minutes of Premier League action this season.

The signing of Luis Diaz from Porto pushes him further down the hierarchy and the fact his deal is expiring in June means that it is an obvious time to join a new club. Liverpool were prepared to offer Origi a new deal, but given he has not been a regular for some time now he will not consider staying.

Milan are the frontrunners at the moment as per the report but Inter remain in contact with Origi’s agents while teams from both LaLiga and the Bundesliga have also come forward, plus a number of other Premier League sides.
