Affectionately deemed Pippo, few players have had an impact quite like the Italian. With Milan, he won everything: two Scudetti separated by almost 10 years, a Coppa Italia, two Super Cups and as many Champions Leagues.

A World Cup winner, a place in the Rossoneri’s Hall of Fame, and the top Italian scorer of all time in Europe’s most prestigious competition. The list goes on, and Inzaghi boasts a cabinet like few others.
Kaka and Athens
He had several highs in Rossoneri, but perhaps his highest came in May 2007, when he bagged a brace against Liverpool to win the club’s seventh and most recent Champions League trophy. An iconic performance which only further established him as a modern-day great.
Today, speaking to Men’s Health, he looked back at the game and some of his teammates, as MilanPress relays.
“Every now and then, I look back at the brace in Athens. For ten nights in a row, I woke up convinced I still had that match to play. I’ve been fortunate to share the pitch with so many extraordinary champions—Pirlo, Gattuso, Ambrosini, Seedorf…
“If I have to choose one, I’d say Kaká, because he was truly special. We achieved something exceptional with him. Shevchenko was also formidable, and with Ibrahimovic, we formed a great partnership. Nesta and Maldini? Luckily, they became my teammates.”

Yea that 2007 trophy was largely due to Kaka. He was on a different planet that year.. dragged the team to the final and as luck/fate would have it, got our revenge against Pool. I liked especially the et goal against Celtic to unlock that tie and the man utd semi both legs 😁 so beautiful to watch. Miss those days man
