Ardon Jashari hasn’t been called up for Club Brugge’s first league game of the season, with AC Milan getting closer and closer to securing his services.
After making progress in the negotiations, as was reported by Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Milan want to get the green light from Club Brugge before the end of the weekend. Jashari, meanwhile, continues to wait for the move.

The 22-year-old, who will turn 23 on Wednesday, has been training with the team as normal in recent days. The head coach even confirmed that he has had a good attitude, but he remains keen on joining the Rossoneri – which he hasn’t exactly hidden.
Excluded from matchday squad
As confirmed by Club Brugge this evening, Jashari has been left out of the squad that will face Genk in the first league game. While it could be that he hasn’t trained a whole lot with the team lately, it’s clear that the advanced negotiations with Milan are playing a part.
Fabrizio Romano added that talks are ongoing between the clubs to find a final agreement, while Jashari has rejected two Premier League clubs in recent weeks. He only wants Milan, meaning such a transfer is the only way for Brugge to monetise their star.

He is fit so not being included in the starting game is telling. No doubt I think he’s getting close to arriving.
Just wake me up when it’s all over lol 😆
40m.for.all this …boy better be the next phenomeno in his position
Even if he was, I’m not sure missing all these friendlies and also the hype, stress and confusion that are certainly getting up to him are doing us (or him) any favour.
The player is young, never played in serie A, probably doesn’t speak Italian and would have to deal with a lot of pressure.
During the last years, it was generally the most expensive transfer that ended up somewhat failing; De Ketelaere, Chukwueze, Fofana might be a bit of an exception and then Giménez during the winter.
Fofan isn’t my cup of tea. Wish he would leave if we get Jashari. Even if they aren’t like eachother.
He was the mvp midfielder, the best in the league last season.
After Jashari, we need Leoni upgrade over Tomori/Thiaw; Vlahovic; and hopefully for once if we don’t have money we will just do a paid loan for Vanderson with option which will automatically becomes permanent if we reach top 4 or just obligation…
What makes my blood boil is that we can do what Juve did last year but on lower scale to finally be done with this BS re-building of the squad… we actually need few summers where we only buy 3-4 players max.
Leao – Vlahovic/Gimenez – Pulisic
Jashari – Ricci – Modric/Fofana
Esptupinan – Gabbia/Pavlovic – Leoni – Vanderson
Maignan
What Leoni bro? forget about him we don’t have the money and a CB is not priority – we have to fill 2 positions more and the just pray for the best
Leoni is an interesting prospect and I’d be happy if he would join, but he’s 19 and is already 35 million? I mean… isn’t that huge gamble? I know any player is a gamble… but he doesn’t have extensive experience even in his current team.
So we upped our offer BUT still didn’t hit 40M?? LOLOLOLO….embarrassing
Is he even worth 38-40M????? We have Modric, Fofana, Ricci RLC and Bondo. Worse case we are stuck with that donkey Musah (because we screwed up not selling him to Napoli for close to 25M!!! – ANOTHER horrible decision by Furlani). Do we need Jasahri THIS playing once a week? Is he really THAT good?
At this point I’d rather spend that 40M to get a real striker. We need that much more at this point especially with Allegri having fallen in love with RLC…
LOLOLOLO EMBARRASSING basement kid is back!!! 😀 😀 😀 😀 😀
Let me quote you here: LOLOLOLO….embarrassing!! 😀 😀 😀
Hahahahaha!!!!
That’s all you got Mr. “I scored 200 goals when I was 8 yrs old playing in a church co-ed league”???? 🤣🤣🤣
Or the guy who said to sell Leao for 30M??🤔🤮😂
Go back to bed you A$$🤡 and try to get some original material son lol.
THIS SEASON**
I have a feeling like Brugge internally accepted this transfer but they want to confirm it in the last day of Mercato so that Milan will struggle to integrate him. Kind of punishment for not paying 40 million fixed fee
I wouldn’t completely rule out this hypothesis. Given how mean and stubborn but also frustrated they are, I see them being able to proceed in this way. Maybe not necessarily waiting for the last day of the transfer window but postponing it as long as they can just out of spite and frustration.
