Jashari’s first words after suffering serious injury: “Incredible support and messages”

Ardon Jashari has sent a message to the AC Milan fans, thanking them for their support, following the serious injury he sustained in training.

During his press conference ahead of Lecce-Milan, head coach Max Allegri revealed that Jashari had sustained an injury on Friday morning, following a duel with Santiago Gimenez in training. Later on, it was confirmed that the midfielder had suffered a ‘compound fracture of his right fibula’.

The recovery time is expected to be at least two months, probably closer to three, and it’s thus a huge blow for Jashari and Milan. On his social media, the player thanked the Rossoneri fans for their support in this difficult time.

“I would like to thank you all for your incredible support and messages in the past hours. My full focus is on working hard, coming back stronger than ever, and contributing to achieving our goals together with this great squad. Forza Milan,” he wrote.

As stated by the club to the media, Jashari is not expected to undergo surgery for the injury, but instead conservative therapy. Hopefully, the recovery will go according to plan so that we can see the midfielder back in action towards the end of the year.

  1. Can’t be easy for him. Was so desperate to come here, and gets set back like this immediately. Best of luck in the recovery

  2. All the best to him. Lord knows we’d rather have him in midfield than rlc and fofana. Hope he recovers quick and well

  3. To think that some truly mentally deranged dudes, some really completely and hopelessly retarded ‘fans’ were laughing earlier about the fact… oh boy, internet is a veritable nest of monstrosities.

  5. Poor guy. Finally lands his dream move to the club he supports, and Bam. This. Hopefully his back for the second half of the season, stronger than ever.

  6. Oh dear…

He was always likely to struggle against Modric’s class and Ricci’s Serie A experience, and the ridiculous circus around his transfer.

An injury this early really gives him an uphill battle.

Just please remember it’s not his fault before you all start insulting him in a year’s time having got all excited this summer.

  7. Its funny before our game against cremonese some people asking if it was true he sustained a serious injury in training.

  8. Thank you Gimenez! Not only he plays awfully and don’t know wtf to do on the pitch, but also destroys our must expensive signing. Im tired of watching this club with the current clueless management who made us s**. #FreeMilan

    1. Come on. Things like this can happen. If it wasn’t on purpose then we can’t blame him. Noone wants to injure their team mates. (Except maybe Newcastle players soon…) I’m sure Santi already feels really bad about this happening. Let’s hope it doesn’t make him worse though.

    2. So… You know exactly what happened as you blame Gimenez? Do share your wisdom or even better yet, show us the video where Gimenez “destroys” our “must” expensive signing.
