The idea of Ardon Jashari joining AC Milan remains very much alive despite the talk of a stalemate between the two clubs.
The Jashari saga has now dragged on for multiple weeks, with Milan initially making ground pretty quickly and seemingly getting right to the edge of being able to wrap up the deal. However, the remaining distance over the transfer fee is yet to be bridged.
In fact, it feels like it has now gone from a productive negotiation to being more of a farcical soap opera, especially with the war of words that emerged in the media. Jashari still wants to join, but Brugge are proving to be a tough nut to crack again.
‘Not a dead end’
Matteo Moretto gave some news on Milan’s mercato in a video published on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel and – in addition to speaking about the full-back situation – he offered an update on Jashari.

“Ardon Jashari showed up today at Club Brugge’s resumption of training. The possibility of him joining Milan remains alive despite the difficulties and financial differences that still exist. It’s not a dead end; it’s currently on hold,” he said (via MilanNews).
“We’ll see what Milan’s next moves will be for Jashari, who in the meantime continues to push for a move to the Rossoneri and to say no to all the offers coming his way from the Premier League. His dream remains Milan.”

Milan should give up some percentage on future sales as solidarity with the player for saying no to all offers.
No need to increase the bid for the player.
I hold no grudge against the management here paying 37/38 million for the player is enough.
just get him quickly and switch to fullbacks
seem like CB want to use him in Super Cup (next match) b4 they accept Milan offer or another club higher offer
I agree with Chudy, the amount offered 37/38 is more than generous for a player that hasn’t proven anything in a major league. I too feel a higher resale percentage maybe the gesture that breaks this stalemate. I don’t know if there is a resale included now but say a 20% resale should be to Brugge liking, i would think………….
This is so frustrating. I am sure we will get it done and hopefully we never do business with CB ever again.
I want him here. I really would like to see this transfer done and finished, so every side can benefit.
But we can’t waste too much more time. Time is limited. They need to move for him or move on. I of course would rather see him join Milan, but if it isn’t going to happen move pass him and find someone we can get sign.
I think they are able to work on multiple fronts at once. Im not quite sure though…
This guy not worth more 20m but ok,you will see when we sell him next year at loan 😂😂😂 This owners only better from Mancester owners, today we and Mancester have disaster and worster transfer politics at world.
All this for 2m. Imagine if his form is a game changer for Milan in the season ahead. But because of 2m, the deal doesn’t get done until the final day of the window. The player misses 3 games, Bari, Cremonese and Lecce. What if his involvement in those games is the difference between a draw and a win. An extra 4 points. Imagine how much 4 points would be worth at the end of the season. Pretty sure we’d pay more than 2m for an extra 4 points. This is incredibly short sighted by the management
You can help with the 2m gap stalling the negotiation and milan will appreciate that from you
I didn’t realise I was part of the stingey Milan owners club who pay themselves multi millions in dividends? Guess I’ll have to update that onto my CV.
There is no way player that have long contract can dictate club. Jashari have contract until 2029 with Club brugge. Look at gyokeres , he rebel against sporting, arsenal thought they can use that to lower the price but no. The price still increase from 60m euro to 73m euro ( 63m basic fee + 10m euro easy add on)
Sadly i am a milan tifoso. But i am sick and fed up with furlani’s bullying tactics with bruges.
They have every right to insist on their price for jashari.
KEEP STRONG BRUGES – you are right.
I think it’s great that AC Milan is still pursuing Jashari despite the financial hurdles. It shows commitment to strengthening the squad!
