AC Milan will be without Ardon Jashari for around three months, thanks to an injury sustained during a training session today.
In his press conference today, AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri stated that Jashari would not be present for the game against Lecce, despite him being planned to be a starter. Not much was revealed, barring basic information that he had a collision.

A short while later, it was reported that the midfielder had injured his right fibula, with the possibility of him missing a few weeks to a few months. Now, the latest information has been revealed about the situation.

Daniele Longo reported that the midfielder had sustained tests and that a ‘non-displaced fracture’ had occurred to his right fibula. Then, the midfielder had chosen to follow a ‘conservative treatment’.
This news was confirmed by a few other reports, though Nicolo Schira has added to the information, stating that he will be out for a period of around three months. What initially seemed to be a knock in training now seems a lot worse.
In fact, there may have to be a revision of the mercato strategy with the new recruit now likely to be absent until near the New Year.

Since Milan don’t have a DM who can play as holding midfielder, apparently the starting trio was supposed to be Modric, Ricci and Jashari. I mean Fofana and RLC are not starting material and rotation during the game is needed too. If Milan get Rabiot though it will be less of an issue, but time will tell whether Milan will do that or not. In any case, I think that Jashari’s injury is a big blow.
Ideally Modric – Ricci – Rabiot. I don’t value Jashari that much personally. Maybe I am wrong but he is an unproven player from Belgium, more likely that Ricci will deliver. Now having more players in rotation is always better, but it is how it is.
If we’re desperate enough to sign a clown like rabiot, the season is borderline over anyway. Would make more sense just to field academy players

Guy is really unlucky, first he spent the summer waiting to see if he’ll go and then he gets injured before 2nd game. That is why I was so pissed of when he wasn’t signed right away and didn’t do a full pre season with us. Injuries could still happen but less likely if he was 100% fit.
