More positive signs are arriving from the Ardon Jashari saga today, and AC Milan may have been given the biggest sign yet…
The talk of Jashari and Milan now is probably slightly boring. A constant mix of hope and helplessness. However, it seems that things are heading in the right direction. This afternoon, the midfielder’s agents were in Milano to meet Igli Tare, presumably to offer an update on things.

Though, it gets better from here, with some significant information dropping this evening.
No Jashari in Hayen’s squad
On Club Brugge’s website, they have released a statement detailing head coach Nicky Hayen’s squad for the Belgian Super Cup final. However, there is no sign of Jashari in the team, which is somewhat understandable considering he has not trained with the squad.
Regardless of this, it points in the direction of him leaving this summer, especially considering he was expected to train and then play in this fixture. Again, though, it is a case of the parties moving closer together financially.

For now, a gap still exists and whilst it does, there will be no move for Jashari. With each day that passes, he seems further and further away from Belgium.

Arm twisting tactics – bullying of a smaller club – i am the boss and i do what i like …..milan should be ashamed of using these tactics ….
So let me get this straight? Jashari is not going to Milan preseason because Milan is holding firm on their bid and the difference is 2M? What a bunch of morons. Either pay or give it up. Origi gets 5.5M and they are clowning over 2M here????? Tare is a joke.
So let me get this straight? This is the primary target of Milan but the problem is 2M? And he will not go to preseason over 2M? Not qualifying for CL is around 200M. Maybe it would be better to have your team fully ready in August than haggle? Either give it up and say f off to Brugge or pay. This is the worst possible option. Tare is also a joke…
That’s on Brugge not Milan. I think Milan is right not to offer Brugge a penny more.
Jashari already turned down other clubs to go to Milan and we are already offering a record breaking transfer fee to club Brugge for Jashari. So they are just being petty and greedy.
What? So it is up to Brugge to care that Milan has their whole team on preseason? You didn’t even understand what I wrote. It is 100% up to Milan, they should have paid extra or given up already and bought someone else. In the end if Brugge don’t do anything he is their player and has to play for them.
It is on Brugge to have Milan complete their team for preseason? You don’t even understand what I wrote, Milan is the club I support and Milan is responsible to have the best team possible on 23rd of August. That is in a month. Only cowards blame someone else. It is on Brugge, Brighton and other clubs, they are responsible? 🤣
He’s a Brugge player with a contract with them. It’s their right to hold him to that contract. They don’t have to accept an offer because we want them to.
So it’s on Brugge that they don’t ‘allow’ us to complete our squad? Who needs who? Brugge dgaf about Milan.
Are you a joke?
If it was up to you, this club would be in bankruptcy and you’d offer 50 million for him. Lmao you’re the joke. Whining under every little article
Also 38 million was a rock solid offer.
Can you read? 2M to have the player with the team for an extra month and be ready and know the team by mid August to begin Serie A properly is a joke. Btw you have that same comment repeating to multiple people, ask you AI to help you with new ones. Who said 50M? 🤣🤣🤣
Seems to me you suffer from serious brain damage and I’ll just ignore you from the time being. They offered 38 million which is fair.
You don’t understand what I am talking about. Too complicated for you. You are still on is the offer fair. Irrelevant…
Yeah football transfer isn’t a place for stupidity, AC Milan has to not look like a chump as much as getting the players they want. Take Archie, no one knew who he was and Milan offered him the same contract that he was getting from Turkey. He went to Turkey and made the club look weak.
Take that example and explore what it says if Milan is forced to pay 40 when they are already at 38 which is far more than what club brugge ever got for a player. The last guy they sold for a record fee was Milan and we know how that turned out, do you think being forced to pay more under all these conditions makes sense.
The midfield is fine enough to go on pre-season. The issues are the full backs and club Brugge can watch and pray that if this deal does not happen Jashari doesn’t fall off the coming season.
Who cares what is the club record transfer? If they get Messi next they can’t ask for 100M because of what? Try writing something relevant. Hard to go into a proper discussion when you write meaningless things. Club record transfer means nothing for new transfers.
Pay 40m or give up. So if it is too much you give up and go for a different player. Or get him in and ready for preaseason so we can begin strong with best team. Waiting a month to save 2M is stupid.
If they were to pay the 2 mil on every player it would add up pretty quick in a few seasons. It’s not a video game where money doesn’t matter, the books are very important to balance if not we’ll be under financial fair play again.
Napolis best player joined last days of mercato last summer and still did fine just saying
Usually I always find myself on the contrary side of the management. But not this time. The thing is that Milan had submitted their final offer. Giving up to that valuation gives bad signal and bad precedent to every other club we’re negotiating with. They can just simply keep dwelling and asking for an extra 2 mil, 3 mil, and so on.
From what we’ve been hearing, Brugge haven’t even responded to our final offer. Keep dwelling and hope for other clubs to come forward. Not working for them as the player himself has already set his heart at. Yes, Milan have future risks if we loose this player, but we can say the same exact thing to Brugge.
With only 2 mil on the line, they risk more downward value as the player will not perform as good as he was last season, and so on.
This management is a joke. If 38 million is final offer so say so clearly, say that Jashari is no longer a target and move on to different player. Or raise up the offer by 2 million, and buy the player. Brugge laught us off, with our “final offer” and now we are waiting, hoping and praying that so no name club as Brugge will do us a favor. Its pathetic.
I say it again…I don’t understand this Brugge club…man…the boy wants to leave. Yoy have a very very good offer for him. You depressed your own player for two millions more. Such a pathologically greedy stubborn . You don’t win anything with this attitude, your player will never play for you with joy because you block him to join his favorite club. You have on the table an offer higher than his proven value and you treat your player like this. So much lack of class. You can’t keep a player with force. You don’t train him properly , his mind is on moving, you don’t play him but you blick him with malicious intention. I bet they wanna sell him in the last minute just to not give Milan satisfaction and destroy whole summer prepparness of the boy and punish both Milan and the player. I repeat…lack of class in this pathetic Brugge club. The club’s management is full of bad people with no manners or class.
Milan must wait and take this boy , don’t give Brugge satisfaction. They have such a malice behavior…
Lack of class asking for your set price? Why did Milan have a 175M release clause for Leao when he isn’t worth half? Or why did Milan ask for more money for Musah when his value is less than offered. You just said that Milan doesn’t have class. Good job.
Some people are surely stupid!
Bro I understand everything you are trying to say. It’s unbelievable what fans be thinking. It’s not on Brugge to go lower in their asking price, it’s on us as to whether we value getting the player for only 2m more, get a proper preseason etc etc. It’s the stupidest thing hearing fans blame Brugge lol 😂🤣🤣
Yes it is Brugges fault to ask 40M. That is the only thing that is their “fault”. Asking price. When Milan does it, it is brilliant, but Brugge is lacking class. What some of these people write is just embarrassing…
People be stupid we are finally witnessing.
Like bro I am very dissapointed to see what some of our more grounded fans are writing.
It’s downright ludicrous.
What he is saying is that consideration is necessary from all parties. If you are inches away from your actual valuation of the player and most importantly THE PLAYER WANTS TO GO,play your own part and fulfill the ambition of the player who has not only served you well but brought you fortune too.Dog says, if you fall for me and I fall for you, the play becomes enjoyable. We would have got more if we played hard ball on Tijjani, but in the end, all is well that ends well
Well it all depends, right? Brugge VALUES their player higher than what we’re offering so either we bid more or we don’t get the player. This is no different than when we valued Musah, for whatever strange reason, at more than 20m. The bidding club can either meet our valuation or they won’t get the player
Exactly.
When we do it, it’s business masterclass. But when it’s done to us we whine and cry like pre schoolers on the playground.
It’s downright hilarious reading some of these fans comments
Move from this guy.He left club which gave him everything we dont need not club loyal players.
Take boy from Valencia he is new world star
Also a really good point. A guy that is willing to quit training to join a different club is a liability…
common if our budget in Example is 60Mio, 2 Mio is much, dont throw money away. Redbird is sting but Jashari is not more worth than we offer..
He’s not quitting though, it’s the club leaving him out of these things because they know he’s unlikely to be there.
The player’s attitude is regrettable. he had already done this in Switzerland. Not very clever and respectful to the club that offered him everything including a new contract.
I hope he leaves for England very soon.
The most important is that the club doesn’t give in to Milan’s shameful pressure. This club and its completely stupid fans represent everything that disgusts me about modern football.
The asking price is not the issue. Brugge an ask for the moon if they want. They player is under contract. So, in my view, they have no “fault”. We either pay what they ask (or at least reach an amount they are willing to come down to from ask) or move on. Neither seems to have happened.
I suspect, and hope, that the transfer is basically done, and that all parties are waiting for Stankovic’s transfer from Inter to go through. It’s the only explanation as to why we’re sitting there not having either improved our offer or moved on. A further clue is that the player is not training with the squad. If Brugge wanted to, they could force him into camp as, once again, he’s under contract. They haven’t done so. So, while not ideal in terms of timing, I’m choosing to believe that the Stankovic transfer will unblock the Jashari transfer. At least this is my hope. Because otherwise all parties are just sitting there looking at each other and wasting time. Brugge isn’t using its player, the player isn’t training (with one team or another), and Milan doesn’t have a midfielder.
The problem is, assuming what you’re saying is true, Inter can do us dirty and stall Stanković’s transfer just so we get Jashari at a later date. Since they’re selling, they don’t have to worry about the player’s preseason. Although if they already had an agreement, I’m not sure they can stall the transfer by a lot.
Let greedy Brugge keep paying the player who wants to be in Milan. Our offer is fair. The drama is in Bruges. They are only hurting themselves, imagining they can bully AC Milan.
Come on give them these fuckin 2 million and get over this issue if you really want the player.
I believe Brugge is intentionally delaying the deal and agree in the last minute. Perhaps they are punishing us for the fact that we can’t add 2m they requested to add to our offer
