Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen have tried to get involved in the race for Ardon Jashari, but the player has made it clear he wants AC Milan.
The long-running saga surrounding Jashari’s future has been going on for weeks, but it won’t go on for much longer. At least that’s according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, who this morning spoke of an internal ultimatum being set by Milan.

Jashari rejects more clubs
Now, Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Sport Switzerland has revealed some more interesting information. On X, he states: “In recent days, Chelsea FC & Bayer Leverkusen launched move for Ardon Jashari!
“Chelsea planning an offer to Club Brugge, while Bayer 04 wanted to make him a replacement for Granit Xhaka. Jashari’s response: ‘My sole, unique and definitive option is… AC Milan!'”
It comes after previous reports that the 23-year-old had turned down approaches from clubs like Nottingham Forest and even Borussia Dortmund, because he wants to play for his childhood team.
However, as the days go by it feels harder and harder to make that dream a reality. Relations between the Belgian side and the Rossoneri are at a real low point, and it does not seem as though there will be an increased offer sent.

BB and Giga94, you guys have made a whole lot of sense, however there is still a solution to the integrity drop if we pay yhe full fee.
Whenever Milan is going for a player, they should immediately have option in case the negotiations drag. That they can simply do by tendering their best offer for any player early and if the selling club resists, they move on to another player.
If they do this to a few clubs, they will know that this Jashari situation isn’t a yardstick to measure Milan’s market engagements.
Just get Jashiri to pay the remaining 2M, and then grant him a sign on bonus of 2M to cover for it.
Brugges will be the only one being left red-faced in that situation, and Tare walks away with his principles intact. Milan still get the player.

We will prevail. It’s just the other positions are more deterministic for now and all depends on what prices can be arranged so the domino effect follows through. It’s why the fans are frustrated. We are not avare of the behind the scenes acts where many cards are being shuffled with the many negotiations unraveling. Many are tangled with a domino effect from other transfers.
If the player is great. He will join the group and shine. If he is not no matter how much preseason he will have will make a big dent. The principle which is more astute.
