What is leading many to be frustrated in Belgium, though, is the barage from Milan. On Sunday, Igli Tare spoke about the offer, stating publically that it was their last. Then, Paolo Scaroni made comments on Tuesday about the move, and the player’s will.
Soap operas
According to Belgian outlet HLN (via MilanNews), the club have been lef frustrateed by it. In fact, nerves are on edge with the soap opera only descending into more of a farce. The words from Scaroni have deepened the issues too, as the paper writes, stating it to be a ‘blunder’.
“A new day, a new Milanese expressing his opinion on the soap opera involving Ardon Jashari. AC Milan’s approach is in stark contrast to that of Club Brugge, where they are usually very discreet in transfer negotiations, and even more so on sensitive issues like that of Jashari.
“Every two days, the Italian media report news of a new, apparently even higher offer leaked from Italy. Meanwhile, another Italian declares how much Jashari wants to go to Milan: all that’s missing is asking the AC Milan cleaning lady for her opinion.”
As a Milan fan, I found Scaroni’s comments to be unnecessary and unhelpful in helping to bring this negotiation to a close.
Are you surprised with Scaroni?. The sooner we get rid of him, the better i think or he should just be banned from speaking in public. At the same time i am beginning to think Brugge could be an arrogant bunch at the same time.

I asked the cleaning lady for her opinion, she said “he seems like a lovely young chap and I hope those psychotic Belgians release him from his contractual prison at once”.
Which I thought was quite harsh personally.

Sorry boys, Boulden is right. Galliani isn’t coming and if he did he would be replacing Furlani, not Scaroni. People don’t know, or forget, that Scaroni is not a football man. He’s been an executive at various companies (including McKinsey, a horrible management consulting firm). He is actually still currently the chairman of Italian company Enel. He’s not in charge of any of the sporting aspect of the club. His role is in the commercial aspect of the club, developing commercial opportunities, sponsorships, selling shirts, etc. Galliani is a football man, with vast experience running clubs, negotiating transfers, maintaining relationships with the league and other clubs, etc. That’s supposedly Furlani’s role. So IMHO, Galliani would be a replacement for Furlani, not Scaroni, as it’s unlikely Galliani and Furlani would co-exist. That said he could possibly be a “special advisor” to Cardinale, and not really have an authoritative role, and that would allow Furlani to remain, but point being that he probably wouldn’t be replacing Scaroni. I could be totally wrong of course…
I never said he would come back but I disagree as Galliani has been vice president and basically spearheaded Monza as well hence he could take the leap. Scaroni has also acted as vice president in those companies you are talking about. Either way one of Scaronis main duties was to get us a new stadium and still we are waddeling around with nothing to see. Besides of that as MaltaMilan already said he can’t keep his mouth shut.
Anyways I doubt that we will see Galliani back at the club even though I’d welcome him back any day.

Make the club look bad. And delay the stadium project. That’s pretty much it.
The thing is though, Brugge are frustrated by the same thing they are themselves doing. Where has there ever been an instance when the club captain had come out and commented on a transfer of a player ?
Yeah Scaroni should keep his mouth shut. Yeah Tare should avoid public statements. But also yeah, their captain shouldn’t run his mouth about transfers either.

Actually there has been an instance when a club captain has spoken about a possible transfer. That’s Lautaro Martinez’s detrimental comments on Calhanoglu’s wish to be transferred back to Turkey. Yes, Lautaro was unprofessional in throwing his teammate under the bus. It may be a bit understandable though, because we all know that Calhanoglu is a snake. Still, it would have been best for Lautaro to address it in-house and not publicly. That’s bad form from a captain.

On the topic of this article.
1. We all know that Scaroni is a clown who should keep his mouth shut.
2. It is unlikely that Club Brugge will agree with this transfer because they sound offended now and they seem to be petty enough to walk away from any deal just because of the perceived offenses. I mean, they are a small club and are not used to the media pressure that a big club like AC Milan generates.
3. We need to move on. I don’t even think that Jashari is worth that much money. To have this issue hijacking Milan’s mercato is just delaying other urgent pursuits like a right back and a striker. I’d rather see the money used to sign good players for those positions. We do have several midfielders but no good right back and only one option for striker (Santi Gimenez) which is utterly insufficient.
4. We paid top money for another Club Brugge player, CDK, and that didn’t pay off. I don’t see why we should invest 40 M Euro on another Belgian player who may fail miserably in the more difficult Italian Serie A.
Scaroni is an idiot who spoke out of turn yes.

So apparently the small club Club Brügge is being cuaght surprised that newspapers/media write a lot of stories about historic bigger clubs and their businesses. No one gives a fck about Club Brügge 99% of the year but when only when the transfer window is open, they get mentioned in the papers and that caught them off guard. How sad is that? 😀 😀 😀 😀

Brugge wanna act butthurt they’ve been embarrassed here because literally everytime they speak it backfires. They tried saying they expected him to say, he immediately doesn’t show up for preseason and then says he wants to leave. They try to get epl clubs to bid stupid amounts by announcing it to the media, and then not a single one has made a bid this month, and THEN jashari turns down any alleged interest saying he has no desire to go play for teams like west ham. Brugge are just angry that their player voiced his choice, refused to just go to whatever club overpaid the most, and got mad that nobody is willing to pay the ludicrous 40mil. Even going back on their promise to jashari that they’d let him leave for a record bid. They’re just bitter they couldn’t squeeze him for every penny they wanted, no matter how bad a move it might be.
