AC Milan have made an offer for Roma striker Edin Dzeko but it has not been accepted, according to a report from one journalist.
It is no secret now that Milan are on the lookout for a new centre-forward who can offer more guarantees from a physical point of view given Zlatan Ibrahimovic will be out for two months after undergoing minor surgery on his knee.
The most linked profile at the moment is Olivier Giroud whose contract was set to expire meaning he would have arrived on a free transfer, but Chelsea used their option to extend his deal which complicated matters as now they could request a transfer fee.
According to Ekrem Konur, Milan have moved for Roma’s Edin Dzeko, who is now 35 and has 119 goals for Roma in 260 appearances in addition to 55 assists. Konur writes that Milan are trying for the Bosnia international and made an offer of €6m, but Roma did not accept, while Fenerbahce are also pushing.
