Journalist explains why Raspadori is ‘more useful’ for Milan than Scamacca

Giacomo Raspadori and Gianluca Scamacca are two Sassuolo players that have been linked with AC Milan for quite some time now. However, as explained by Paolo Condo, one of them is the obvious choice.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are working hard to reinforce the Rossoneri squad ahead of next season. In addition to renewing their current stars, they also want to sign a few quality players this summer.

The attack is one of the priorities as it was clearly Milan’s weakness in the season finale. As stated by journalist Paolo Condo, live on Sky Italia (via SempreMilan.it), the Rossoneri would be much better of with Raspadori rather than Scamacca.

“Raspadori is more useful than Scamacca. He’s the Sassuolo player I can imagine at Milan the most. The moment you sign Origi you have three strikers, so it’s only intelligent to go and get someone who can play behind the striker and replace Leao when he’s not there,” he stated.

This past season, the 22-year-old scored ten goals and registered six assists for the Neroverdi. He played mainly as a second striker but also as a left-winger, showcasing a versatility that could be useful for Stefano Pioli and Milan.
