AC Milan director Paolo Maldini has made a call to enquire about the possible margins for signing Paulo Dybala from Juventus when his contract expires, a journalist has claimed.
According to what journalist Luca Momblano told Calciomercato.it – a man very close to Juventus’ business – Paulo Dybala will leave the Bianconeri at the end of the season and an ‘exploratory call’ was made not by an intermediary on behalf of Milan but instead by Paolo Maldini.
The main director chose to take the pursuit into his own hands and the former Milan captain is ‘different from any other director at the moment’. The parties ‘did not go into economic details’ during the conversation, but there were talks.
Not only that, but in the identikit of the player who is missing from Milan, Stefano Pioli essentially named Dybala as the ideal man. Dybala ‘did not remain insensitive to the fact that Paolo Maldini made that call’ which happened ‘a few days ago on the eve of Torino-Milan’. Now, we will wait for further developments.
