Official: Jungdal joins SCR Altach from AC Milan on loan with option deal – photo

Austrian side SCR Altach have officially announced the signing of goalkeeper Andreas Jungdal from AC Milan on an initial loan deal.

On their official website, Altach confirm that they have reached an agreement with the Rossoneri over Jungdal, one which will see the 20-year-old sign on loan until the end of the season with an option to buy in their favour.

The Dane has been a member of the first team training group since last season and Stefano Pioli has kept him in and around the squad, without making a single senior appearance.

    1. And if Pioli tried Jungdal and ended up as a flop, you will blame Pioli then act like a genius manager “shouldn’t try Jungdal and stick with Mirante or Tata” lmao

        1. Jungdal is at a point of his career where he simply needs to be guaranteed consistent minutes to keep developing and that the management aknowledge that fact as well. The addition of Devis made that even more difficult to happen so i think it makes sense if we look at what is best for the danish goalkeeper. The only part of this deal that has me a bit dumbfounded is that we apparently hasnt inserted a buyback clause in the loan with option to buy deal but its propably calculated that we will have sportiello joining us in july + devis already aquirred and the fact that the management also has great faith in some of our youth goalies as well.
In the end not eveyone can get a debut with us and neither should eveyone get that. In the end if we actually sell him we will most likely make decent profit compared to what we initially paid.
