GdS: Juventus ready €30m package for Tomori after Barcelona deal blow

Just as it looked like the Fikayo Tomori to Juventus rumours had died down, they have apparently come back in with an offer to AC Milan.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thiago Motta wants cover for Gleison Bremer and Juan Cabal who are out for the season. Cristiano Giuntoli has been working for some time to identify the right profiles, but one of the options has become complicated.

Juve have been working on a deal for Ronald Araujo of Barcelona, but Inigo Martinez’s injury has upset the balance and put the Uruguayan defender back at the centre of their plans, so the pursuit is definitely more uphill now.

Thus, the Tomori option is being considered again and Saturday’s game at the Allianz Stadium could provide a chance to talk. Juventus seem willing to offer a €5m loan plus an obligation to buy at €20m, then bonuses to take the total of €30m.

It’s a figure that could make the Rossoneri give in but the Bianconeri are also working on alternatives, such as David Hancko of Feyenoord. There could be some surprises late in the window, yet what might complicate things further is Malick Thiaw’s injury during the Como game.

  1. Im not sure about this. Tomori is past his prime a bit. And since he was made a starter again we started to leak some goals. I think Gabia/Thiaw worked well. But i would still like to keep Tomori as a back up rotation. We all know that usually redbird won’t bring someone better to replace him.

      1. That point loss is because we cant score goals not the defense, tomori thiaw has conceded at least 1goals since sergio come

  2. Milan have luck to sack Fonseca and bring Conceicao, who logically started to use our most experienced players, among them Fikayo. We must said Gabbia, Thiaw and Tomori are not worldclass centre backs, but still they are very firm and strong in serie a and UCL. Many times our right and left backs didnt make crucial blocks, what are the reason our opponents scores.
Milan cants afford to sell Tomori, even for that kind of low price, and only small fee, 10-15 million of capital gain, and lose most experienced one centre back. Milan can sell him and even Thiaw in case bringing 2 centre back who are much stronger on those position.
Now luckily, after Thiaws injury, Milan have option with Gabbia and Tomori, with using Pavlovic again who must find his good play if he is going to be back up centre back.
So after Kalulu, the sale of Tomori cant be option for Milan.

  3. As much as I’ve been unimpressed with Tomori over the last two and a half seasons Milan can’t do business with Juve. It never works in Milan’s favor

  4. Coach wants him as a starter on account of our high defensive line and pressing game, so this transfer is highly unlikely

  5. Tomori is free to join Juventus our problem is not defence our management are a bunch of disappointment they supposed to pump money to sign attacking midfielders they’re busy saying rubbish were not serious were lucky that Como did not defeat us if not we could have being in disaster by now.

  6. I advice acmilan Management and the Owner to sell Tomori ,but to Include the deal their Urugaian Defender who is out on Loan to Italian Team,
They Brought hiim from Spain l,Vallencia as i think.
