Paulo Dybala could decide to stay in Italy despite snubbing a new deal from Juventus and both Milan clubs have a ‘concrete interest’, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.it, it remains to be understood if Dybala is looking for an accommodation based on the salary that he wants – in which case the Premier League, LaLiga or PSG beckon – or if he wants to go for an exciting project and the ‘spirit of revenge’ that staying in Serie A could bring.
Milan have long been linked with Dybala and tried for him back in 2015, as confirmed by Palermo’s president Maurizio Zamparini at the time: “The Rossoneri had actually moved and wanted him. But when I learned about Juve I had no doubts and I chose.”
The Rossoneri are looking for players that would boost the quality of the attack within budget, so a free transfer opportunity like Dybala has led to ‘concrete interest’, but the same can be said for Inter as Beppe Marotta has wanted him for a year.
Dybala knows him very well and there have been months of approaches and discussions, so now we must see if there is a potential auction triggered between Milan and Inter on salaries.
This transfer will never happen.
