GdS: Discussions well underway over renewal of key defender but no agreement yet

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are working on several key renewals now that the transfer window has closed and one of them is Pierre Kalulu’s, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reports how Rade Krunic signed a one-year extension yesterday and Sandro Tonali should sign his new contract in the next few hours, with an agreement having been reached.

However, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will not stop there and they are hoping to secure the long-term future of other players that they consider to be pillars of their project moving forward, with Kalulu among them.

The dialogue between the parties goes on and while a total agreement with the French centre-back has not yet been found, the discussion is well underway and there is great optimism that soon the former Lyon man will become the latest to put pen to paper and show that he sees his future with Milan.
