AC Milan defender Pierre Kalulu has reflected on his two favourites memories from last season, and revealed some other interesting bits of information.
Kalulu arrived at Milan in the summer of 2019 having not made a senior appearance for Lyon and after finding opportunities hard to come by at first, he seized the chances that came his way and is now a bedrock of Milan’s project moving forward.
He and Fikayo Tomori formed an exceptional partnership in the second half of last season, one that conceded just two goals in the final 11 games of the league campaign, with nine clean sheets in that stretch helping to end an 11-year title drought.

How is the preseason going?
“Everything is fine. We are working well. It is important to be here to get to know each other even better off the pitch.”
What music do you listen to?
“We listen to a lot of French music in the locker room.”
How important is it to know each other well?
“It is very important especially when things are not going well.”
Who sings best in the dressing room?
“We have a very good new singer: I’m talking about Adli.”
How is Milanlo?
“You eat very well. I really like clothes and there are many shops in Milan.”
What did Ibra say the first time you met him?
“I wanted to make a good impression with everyone when I arrived.”
What was the game that gave you the most satisfaction last season?
“I say two: the first in the Champions League at San Siro and then the match against Fiorentina at home.”
What effect did seeing the San Siro full have on you?
“Already seeing so many fans waiting for us outside the stadium is impressive.”
Who is the team-mate you would never want to face as an opponent?
“I say Leao. It runs a lot.”
How do you communicate with your team-mates?
“With Maignan we speak in French, but when we all speak together we speak in Italian. With Tomori we sometimes speak in English.”
How has the summer been for you?
“I was in Greece and then in the south of France.”

“The fans are better at choosing these things.”
