MN: Key Bologna player ruled out of Milan clash

Bologna attacking midfielder Roberto Soriano has been ruled out of the match against AC Milan at the weekend thanks to a serious knee injury, a report claims.

As has been reported by Milan News, the Italian player who was crucial to the win last weekend against Atalanta underwent tests on Wednesday which showed a lesion of his medial collateral ligament in the right knee.

It is going to take him around 5-6 weeks to recover so he will certainly miss the Milan match in Serie A as well as most of the rest of the season.

He was one of three players that trained separately from the group on Wednesday. The other two are Marko Arnautovic and Andrea Cambiaso but they should be fit enough to face the Rossoneri.

It will be a very tough game for Milan soon after the Champions League first leg against Napoli as Bologna are in superb form in Serie A.
