The competition to sign Jakub Kiwior from Spezia is growing and AC Milan will now face a tough battle to sign him, according to a report.
According to a report from TMW, the latest club to make an enquiry over Kiwior are RB Leipzig, and the response they got was that the central-back is valued at over €20m after he had a positive World Cup with Poland.
Money wouldn’t be a problem for the German club however, as they will probably sell Josko Gvardiol in the summer for an amount exceeding €100m, which would give them the boost in funds needed to go out and sign a replacement. Leipzig are of course famous for preferring to sign and develop young talent, too.
Ahead of next summer the competition of Eintracht Frankfurt must be mentioned too, while the Italian clubs – namely Milan and Juventus – are ‘at a standstill due to lack of funds’.
Milan will always be on standstill for player beyond $5m value.
Milan desperately needs a left-footed CB to start next to Tomori .
One of the reasons for Tomori’s drop of form ,IMO, is that he plays on the left instead on his natural right side. He is forced to play there because with the Romagnoli departure, Milan doesn’t have a left-footed CB in the squad.
I always thought that Tomori looked the best when he played next to Romagnoli. They complemented each other nicely. Alessio’s height and positioning combined with Tomori quickness, strength, and aggressiveness.
That’s why Maldini and Massara wanted Botman last transfer window. Tomori and Kalulu are too similar.
Also, quiet as kept, Kalulu form has also dropped significantly after a strong start and especially after signing an extension
But then even this year’s Tomori is a far cry from last year’s Tomori ….. last night he was woeful at times against PSV …. wonder why …..
We are always at stand still. Not new to us.
