L’Arena: Milan, Spurs and Man Utd in five-team battle to land €28m-rated Verona star

AC Milan are one of a number of clubs interested in signing Hellas Verona centre-back Marash Kumbulla, according to a report.

The Rossoneri are believed to be in the market for a new central defender to reinforce Stefano Pioli’s options, though Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenkovic is the player who has been most strongly linked.

L’Arena are reporting that Milan are keen on signing 20-year-old Hellas star Kumbulla this summer, along with their Serie A rivals Inter and Lazio, who have been repeatedly linked by the Italian press.

Not only that, but there is competition from England too, as the paper mentions that Tottenham and Manchester United are also monitoring the situation surrounding Kumbulla.

The report adds that the Gialloblu are looking for around €28million if they are to sell their prized young asset this summer, which makes him more affordable that Nikola Milenkovic on the face of things who is apparently valued at €40m.
