AC Milan look set to welcome Charles De Ketelaere to the club in the coming hours, but Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have already resumed work on other targets.
According to MilanNews, the directors know that one of the tasks they must now confront is finding a midfielder who will replace Franck Kessie but under the right conditions, and it is Renato Sanches of Lille who is currently the numbers one target.
There is in agreement in place with Lille over a transfer fee, but everything depends on what the player wants to do and also whether Paris Saint-Germain are able to launch a concrete bid soon, because at the moment it seems to depend on them offloading some players.
The report also talks about Hakim Ziyech who has been talked about as an additional potential reinforcement. However, there is unlikely to be an attempt for the Chelsea winger unless there is an exit in attack.
Sign Ziyech and snub Sanchez
He will be 5th choice RW behind CDK, Messias, Saelemaekers, and Origi.
Saelemaekers is Pioli’s 1st choice when he want a defensive winger. =p
Origi is a striker, CDK can play as RW but is way better as trequartista or a false 9. Assias and Saladmaker would be behind Ziyech in the pecking order.

Ziyech is FAR better than both Messias and Saele; and CDK will play centrally (thankfully putting Brahim Diaz on the bench) and Origi will play up top sharing time with Giroud as the striker.
We need ziyech more than we need a midfielder or a center back

Actually.. Adli is a fantastic CAM. CDK plays mostly on the right flank even when he was deployed in center, which means, right side is his comfort zone. He will be comfortable in RW.
If Adli gets injured, we can shift CDK to mid and deploy Messias or Saele on RW. Also, we have Rebic.
We have enough CDMs to hold the mid. I don’t think we need Ziyech anymore. We should rather go for backup CBs and CMs to strengthen the bench in preparation for UCL.
I am worried about Leao. If preseason is any indication, he needs to step up his game. We know he has it all, but he just needs the maturity to contribute on teamwork.
We need a midfeilder more than a winger, Sighing zyiech makes no sense unless we sell a winger, the only double pivot we have is tonali and benaceer, every other midfeilders are just quantity and no quality.
We should not go into this season with bakayoko,pobega and krunic as backup, never!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maldini knows this, tamhats why he is meeting with mendes to know if he improve the salary…..3.2m is poor, 4m will do the magic
