Le10Sport: Milan star very tempted by PSG move as owner asks Leonardo to get deal done

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo is not giving up on the idea of signing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer, reports in France claim.

According to Le10sport.com, PSG are determined to sign a quality midfielder this summer and are three names that Leonardo is working on personally.

Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio has long been considered the primary target, but Roma’s Lorenzo Pellegrini and Milan’s Ismael Bennacer are also on the short list.

However, the report adds that Bennacer could become the primary name to reinforce the midfielder because of the interjection of owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi himself.

The head of the Qatari consortium that runs the Parisian club has let Leonardo know he considered Bennacer the best choice to reinforce the team.

The Algeria international – who won Player of the Tournament at the African Cup of Nations last year – is ‘very tempted’ by the idea of moving to Paris and returning to the country that launched him football.

A first bid of €30million proposal has already been rejected by Milan, but if that offer were raised and the player pushed then the wall may be broken down.
