Leao admits Milan lacked ‘clarity’ vs. Bologna: “Let’s think about the next games”

While the defenders did their job against Bologna tonight, Rafael Leao and his attacking teammates failed to find the back of the net. After the game, the winger shares his thoughts on the disappointing draw.

The 0-0 result means Milan have just one point more than Napoli and four points more than Inter, who have a game hand. It would have been nice to restore the three-point lead, therefore, but it’s clear that it will come down to the wire.

In an interview with Sky Italia, as cited by our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, Leao stated that it was a tough draw for the Rossoneri. He added that they have many things to work on ahead of the remaining games of the season.

On the performance…

“It was a bad draw, we did everything to get the three points. Now let’s think about the upcoming games, to play well and win.”

On the mistakes…

“We keep working, we have to work a lot. There was a lack of clarity and we will try to improve the things that didn’t work out. Now let’s think about the next matches.”

On what to improve…

“We have to think about what we did well and what we did wrong. Now we will head to Torino and let’s think about winning.”

Milan will take on Torino away from home this weekend and that certainly won’t be an easy one. At this stage of the season, there are no easy games and we saw that tonight.
