AC Milan did not emerge from London a positive result as they were beaten 3-0 by Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last night after what was a disappointing performance.
Tuttosport (via MilanNews) writes that a couple of darting runs from Rafael Leao and a strong performance by Pierre Kalulu were the main highlights for Milan, but they were not enough to stop a Chelsea that last night appeared superior in every area.

It is a step back in the Champions League in view of the return leg next Tuesday, but it must of course be highlighted that Maignan, Theo, Calabria, Kjaer as well as Florenzi and Ibrahimovic were missing the game. On the bench Pioli’s options were depleted, so much so that Coubis and Gala from the Primavera were present.
Despite this, the performance was subdued for virtually the entire game as Kepa had to make just one save on a shot by De Ketelaere after a break from Leao. Aside from that, Graham Potter’s side commanded the game and controlled the tempo.
The beauty of this season is that there is a quick opportunity for Milan to redeem themselves in the big match against Juventus on Saturday evening. One player that applies to is the big-money summer signing De Ketelaere as he was not able to get into the game.

Most of our starters who played, shouldn’t be blem neither Pioli.
Am putting the blem on health sector both the medical and trainee.
What is wrong that we can’t play 5 matches without injury.
Is they no governing rules to regulate these players meals?
Our main rival isn’t seria a or Europe but injury. Something must be done about it. Else…..
Maignan, Calabria and Theo were badly missed in the match. Calabria and Maignan won’t be available for second leg and Theo is unlikely. I hope Pioli switches to back 3 of Tomori, Kalulu and Kjaer. This will be our best option.
Kjaer is out injured
Pioli is fear to chenge pattern of the game always 4231 chenge to new formation back three is the solution
