L’Equipe: PSG could turn to Milan and Arsenal midfielders to begin overhaul after final defeat

By Oliver Fisher -

Paris Saint-Germain have not given up on the idea of signing AC Milan midfielder Ismael Bennacer this summer, a report claims.

The Parisians are expected to be busy in the transfer market once again as they fell agonisingly short of their main goal for the season, losing Sunday night’s Champions League final 1-0 to Bayern Munich.

Movements are expected in midfield, and PSG have been repeatedly linked with a move for Bennacer over the past few months with the Algeria international having had an impressive first season at San Siro following his move from Empoli.

According to L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com), the priority for PSG is to secure a right-back who can alternate with Kehrer and fill the void left by Meunier.

However the midfield will also get some attention and the number one target is still Lazio’s Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

If they cannot land him due to the high demands of Lazio president Claudio Lotito, then they will turn to Ismael Bennacer and Matteo Guendouzi from Arsenal.

To make room for them, Julian Draxler could leave.
