AC Milan have learned the amount they will have to spend if they are to sign Renato Sanches from Lille this summer, according to a report.
It is now well known that Renato Sanches is one of Milan’s great transfer targets for the summer as they must replace Franck Kessie who will be leaving on a free transfer as things stand. Multiple sources suggest that the Portuguese midfielder is the man identified as their heir to the Ivorian, after an attempt was made in January.
The operation did not go through last month, but according to A Bola (via PianetaMilan), Lille will settle for €20m in the summer to let the midfielder go. Considering the calibre of the player it is not a figure that seems too high, and it is influenced by the fact his contract will expire in 2023.
Contacts between Milan and Jorge Mendes are continuing and are still positive.
