After starting the game against Arsenal, doing well in spells, the Englishman got the chance from start against Liverpool as well. He didn’t exactly disappoint Massimiliano Allegri, scoring a goal whilst also combining well with his teammates.

He was one of the highest-rated players in our ratings, impressing with his runs forward, and he has certainly improved his position in the squad. After all, there were doubts about his role in the team, given the reinforcements in the midfield department.
Loftus-Cheek’s reaction
After the game, present at the press conference (via MilanNews), Loftus-Cheek shared his thoughts on the performance and what Milan did well. He made it clear that the win was ‘a big step forward’ for the Rossoneri.
“It’s great to play against a Premier League team, and obviously it’s fantastic to play against Liverpool; they’re among the best teams in the world. At this stage, however, the important thing is to feel good physically, play as a team, and build confidence. For us, tonight was a big step forward. It was a good performance. We’ll take it and move on,” he stated.
