A brief look at the table and their respective seasons shows the differences between AC Milan and Inter. However, things are much worse than they may have initially seemed.
It does not take a genius to tell that the Nerazzurri are in a better position than Milan, but things get much more worrying when looking at things in a deeper manner. In fact, from top to bottom, the club’s biggest rivals are in a better place.

The signs have been present for years, Inter have built on success rather than getting consumed by it and its pressure, whilst the Rossoneri have struggled to get back into the position they were in the Scudetto season.
For some, that title win was more of a burden than a positive, given it accelerated plans at the club, which was not accounted for in preparations. Today, Andrea Longoni has looked at the situations of both clubs, and why they are so far apart for Milan News.
“It has been a week of suffering , on the couch, for those who have Milan in their hearts : a script to which, among other things, there is the risk of having to get used to next year too. The victory against Bologna will have been useless in the end and now everyone’s hope is that the season ends as soon as possible.
“The success of the rivals Inter against Barcelona weighs much more in the minds of many. The truth is that today there are incredible differences between Inter and Milan. First of all as a Club : that’s where the successes or failures of a Club are born.
“In Milan, between the two parties, it’s like night and day for competence, knowledge, experience and ambition. The results speak for themselves and cannot be the result of chance. Cardinale arrives at the best moment of the last 15 years, when Milan wins the championship: instead of surfing the wave, they decided to return to the shore to build sand castles.
“In the three-year period, Inter have won a Scudetto, 2 Coppa Italia, 3 Super Cups, as well as 2 Champions League finals, with the possibility of winning it this year. In the same period, Milan have won a Super Cup and failed to place in the next Champions League: then the possibility of winning a Coppa Italia.
“For the series, find the differences. In other times, all this would have unleashed the pride of management and Ownership.
“The certainty, however, is that not even a possible victory of the most prestigious trophy by the cousins would help to stir consciences and change the format. Which doesn’t pay. By the way, Inter wins and brings a boatload of millions of euros into the company coffers. Milan loses and also loses a lot of money. Will they have understood it? No. Will they understand it? I don’t think so.
“Even if the Coppa Italia was won on Wednesday against Bologna, it would have been a negative season in the end. Even if they won 2 trophies, it would not erase a Championship that was embarrassing to say the least. Not to mention a Champions League that ended prematurely, badly: a huge disappointment.

“In the meantime, what is changing? Nothing. You don’t see a management rolling up its sleeves to quickly change things. In fact, in the end, maybe nothing will change. In this sense, Furlani’s pre-match statements are emblematic: for the series, in the end, maybe we’re fine with it.
“In the week in which Inter reaches the final of the top European competition, the CEO’s message should have been much stronger and clearer: what was needed was a public awareness and a strong will to bring about change. And instead…

Why compare even? You just want to stirr up negative thoughts.
And by the way that Barcelona team is not very great either. Sure its great to reach CL final but what is the point if you never win it?
Don care about Inter, write about Milan or loose a reader.
Forza Milan.
And undermining winning 2 titles in a season is so off puttning its ridicilous why would that be a failure? Football is about winning trophies not qualifying for CL and make money.
I take 2 trophies every season over CL qualification.
Within context, no one wants to be sitting 9th in the table after finishing second the previous season. That is an insult to the club. That kind of failure cannot be erased by two domestic trophies. Mind you these two trophies are not considered to be prestigious in the eyes of the fans, but given how weak the mentality of this team is, then winning a cup is important to build some solid mental fortitude when the next season begins.
The players, coach, the management and especially the management have to be blamed for sitting 9th. There is a small window to coming in 4th but that is impossible. The truth is Milan will be in mid table by the end. It is an insult and everyone should have very little to be proud of by the end of the season.
To go out of the UCL in the way they did was an insult, but to rub salt on the wound is sitting in mid table by the end. Trust me this season was already a C minus because of exiting the UCL by the first stage when they had to beat some of the easiest teams you can beat with this squad.
It is a bad season and you don’t have to compare it with Inter to recognise that, just review the team based on where it was last season and what the goals were for this season and then judge.
This article is rage baiting for those who have little self awareness of it. I would disregard the rage aspect and recognise that as fans this club should be easily winning domestics cups on a regular basis given the quality of this team and competing and winning the league should be a given because we ended second last year. The point is to remind the readers of the standers AC Milan must retain and the fans are the one’s who keeps the management in line even though the fans don’t like them. To side with those who are critical of the owners when it comes to who they hire and how much they spend. This team deserves only the best and they need to be criticised when they fail to meet that standard
Sure its great to reach CL final but what is the point if you never win it? what is the point? just look how much inter earn money from champion league compared to milan this season ? look how much milan will lose income from champion league next season because right now milan sits at 8 places. it is not all about the trophy..
Who cares? I dont watch football for the money they earn i watch to be entertained and to watch my team win trophies. You just finding excuses to be bitter all the time.
Wtf? Less money means, less investments, potentially selling prized players and buying garbage. Does banter era ring a bell to you?
“I take 2 trophies every season over CL qualification.”
Who gives a fck about Coppa Italia and the Super Coppa? No one. Scudetto, UCL and the World Cup are the only trophies that matter.
The difference wouldn’t be so big if Milan still had Tonali. He keeps getting better and better at Newcastle; a real top player.

Yep we get it – merde are in the CL final again but they’ll probably lose it again. They beat Bayern who had half their team missing and still almost beat them, and then Barcelona who were naive, gifted them about 5 goals and still were unlucky not to win.. And Napoli will win the title – so just how good is this cr@pay team really? 🤔
Tbh this season they’re great in Europe.
They barely lost a game so far and while Bayern and Barcelona had their issues they’re still big threats and they might still win this thing (PSG might blunder as they usually do).
I mentioned how lucky they were in 2022/23 because they had the easiest road to final ever, but this season they’re clearly better.
I’m a Milan fan and hope Inter wins the trophy as an Italian team. Forget the bragging rights, this would command some respect for Italian football…. Let’s hope they win it even if they are our rivals in the SPORT. Milan, even if we win this cup would still be a bad season. A mid-table team like Bologna makes it to the final of the Coppa, if they can, any team can. We should be in the top TWO every season. Arsenal would swap all their FA cups for a champions league or another Premier League title after decades of winning it. We are Ac Milan not some small team❤️🖤
Does 1 side of the City of Milan Love americans, And the other side of the city hates americans
Milan fans are not obsessed with Inter. No one cares about these silly comparisons with Inter. I compare Milan to Real, Barca, Liverpool, Bayern and Man City, that’s the level Milan fans expect this club to push to…not hit or miss Inter. Milan fans expect their team to be dominant in Europe amongst the elite. Hence the frustration, even after a win. Inter? you want us to be impressed? win the CL, otherwise…sit down!
A club that’s bankrupt according to our financial guru Gerry, will book record revenue and finish this season on a profit. Maybe this hotshot Wall Street greaseball should take notes from our neighbours.
I’d take Inter’s management team over our current ones without any hesitation whatsoever. Their’s works towards one goal while ours have multiple contrasting goals. It’s also a matter of leadership at the top. Unfortunately, Redbird clearly lacks that
So you want that cross Eyed moratta who is a known cheater in your team? Good morale buddy
Thank God Berlusconi was as innocent as the pope himself, right? TBH, I loved the time (well, not the last 5 years…) Silvio was in charge.
