Andrea Longoni was very complimentary of AC Milan’s performance against Udinese last night, stating that ‘a very interesting project’ is emerging.
Milan are certainly on a roll, with three wins on the trot, and Massimiliano Allegri’s style of play is showing more and more. The Rossoneri are solid at the back while creating chances up front, and the individual brilliance cannot be denied either.

In his latest editorial for MilanNews, the journalist Andrea Longoni only had positive things to say about Milan’s performance. He’s normally rather pessimistic about all things Rossoneri, so you know the tide has shifted when he’s full of praise.
“A show of strength in Udine, on a consistently tough pitch, against a consistently physical team, who had yet to lose and had beaten Inter at San Siro.
“It was a very serious match from Milan with a compact team, well-organised on the pitch, and capable of creating numerous dangerous opportunities.
“The feeling is that a very interesting project is emerging. Milan concede little to nothing. Since the start of the season, looking at the XG, they have conceded one goal, while scoring 6.
“The myth that Allegri only thinks about defence has been dispelled for now: he is also making himself known in the offensive phase.
“Pulisic confirms his extraordinary status as a player: in addition to his two goals, it’s worth noting his tenacity in recovering the ball in the build-up to Fofana’s second goal. The American is untouchable and his contract needs to be renewed as soon as possible.
“Then, in the middle, two more champions: Modric the Maestro, and Rabiot the Professor. These additions have had a resounding impact. They have changed the face of AC Milan’s midfield. These are players of superior quality and you can see it in every play,” he writes.
Of course, Milan cannot afford to get ahead of themselves. Lecce are up next in the Coppa Italia and after that, the big clash against Napoli awaits. The mood could thus change rather quickly based on the outcome of these clashes.
we have conded 2 against cremonese and kept 3 clean sheets up to now whilst scoring 7 goals – 1 vs cremonese 2 vs leece 1 vs bologna 3 vs udinese . its quite interesting as i think leao will only make the team better and jashari too , but id like to see de winter more and ricci and also us facing napoli and co . scudetto might be on the cards
Jashari won’t even play. Who would he replace? His profile looks most like Modric and Modric is not being benched for him.
Give him a chance. We also need a lot of depth.
Sure you hate jashari but when he returns he will be starter don’t bring another story only rabiot are ahead of him when it comes technique and skill it will be modric jashari rabiot
Since Rabiot came the midfield improved a lot. Modric has someone to play with and even Fofana looks like a good midfielder when he doesn’t have to play with RLC or Musah.

Completely absurd to compare Musah to Rabiot and Modric. Don’t be that person. If so , then let’s add that Gambia is no Van Dijk and Pulisic is no Ronaldo.
I think we put that first game behind us. If I recall correctly, we lost our first game when we won that Scudetto with Allegri. Just saying.
Rabiot+Modric have been both game changers.
Also Juventus tripped up. So a great day.
We need the Curva Sud back. From the moment I started watching till the end, it was their singing I heard. It felt like we were playing at home. The team needs this level of support, especially, in the big games.
The team is doing very well, with strong options coming off the bench. I’ve not seen much of Jashari, but add him in and Milan certainly has good options to bring in in the event of injuries/suspensions and rotations.
Ricci looks ok, but hasn’t been on the pitch long enough to make a strong impact, but the season is long and he will get his chances.
The only player really struggling is Gimenez and he probably has until January to turn things around.
