AC Milan’s interest in Hakim Ziyech remains concrete and an important update has arrived from the player’s side, a report claims.
According to a report from Calciomercato.com, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara are ‘in love’ with Ziyech as they believe that he is not only a good fit from a technical point of view given that he is a left-footed right winger, but they believe his character is right for the club too.
Last Friday, Milan had a conversation with Ziyech to reaffirm their willingness to make a new concrete attempt with Chelsea to sign him, and it emerged from those talks that the Morocco international wants to join Milan and wants to play at San Siro next season.
At the moment Milan are the preferred destination compared to the other opportunities that his representative has offered him amid a rift with head coach Thomas Tuchel. Maldini and Massara are still working on De Ketelaere, but the Ziyech track is more alive than ever.

And what he Ziyech achieved? Except for cluttering up Chelsea’s bench and wage bill? He’s 29 on a huge salary, and has achieve nothing. Berardi gives great goal and assist returns in Serie A every year…consistently..year after year. Our primary goal should be to defend the Scudetto, Berardi will contribute to that.
I hate to give you a nasty wake up call but we aren’t going to be competing for the CL anytime soon. Basic numbers show that a Berardi who’s spent the last few seasons averaging about 15 goals and 10 assists per season is a better proposal than Ziyech who’s done nothing in that time…he’s also younger. .think how easier the Scudetto would have been with 15 goals and 10 assists from the RW last season.

Exactly this. Berardi is a guaranteed goal machine and assist maker in Serie A. Who cares about the national team… what recent italian player has good national team stats anyways?? Ziyech is a bad choice.
100%, I don’t think he’s been particularly bad for Italy, he’s not ripped up any trees, but I wouldn’t say he’s done any less for his national team than someone like Grealish.
You never know the step up to Milan and CL football may propel him to be better than he has been….

Ziyech has zero matches in Serie A. Berardi has proven to be a dominant player there for years now. That sums it up nicely. You know what you get with Berardi. Ziyech might be another Fernando Torres (great in EPL, absolutely awful in Serie A).
Go take maldini job if you insist sign berardi. M&M prefer ziyech and not interested in berardi . As AC Milan fans since child of course maldini will do the best for AC Milan . Ziyech available on loan , while berardi we must pay sassoulo cash 35m euro. AC Milan policy now only pay cash to young /wonderkid player. Unless sassoulo accept loan option for berardi ,there is no way we buy 28 years player cash 30-35m euro. Suggesting he’ll fail at Milan is ridiculous, there’s far more to suggest Ziyech will. Look at the end of the day ziyech of 2020 was a different ball game, but after two years of the pace I don’t think it’s a gamble with taking. Sassuolo have a great side, to suggest everything is about Berardi is a little daft.
