Tuttosport: Maldini and Massara make a decision on €4.5m option for Roma man

Alessandro Florenzi has made it clear what his desire is regarding his future and he may well have his wishes satisfied, a report claims.

According to what was stated in today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), there seems to be news regarding the future of Florenzi at Milan. He arrived last summer via the formula of a loan with the option to buy, which Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara have decided to exercise in the summer.

Milan have therefore decided to pay the €4.5m established in the agreement to make a Florenzi a permanent signing. The decisive meeting will come at the end of the season, but Florenzi’s desire to come to Milan – as underlined by the renunciation of his monthly salary that the Giallorossi owed him to join Milan – plus his performances and versatility have convinced them.

The Italy international has missed the last few games due to an injury that even forced him to undergo an arthroscopy, but he is completing the path to recovery and could yet be a decisive part of a team fighting for a first Scudetto since 2010-11.
