AC Milan are still looking for the right striker to go all-in for, and there are three names that stand out including a Manchester United man.
As Il Giorno report, Serie A is preparing to bid farewell to its top scorer. Mateo Retegui is close to flying to Saudi Arabia, enticed and seduced by the lucrative offer received from Al-Qadsiah, who turned to the Italian-Argentine striker after Moise Kean turned them down.

A four-year, €20m net per season deal is in the works for the striker, which would be yet another extraordinary capital gain for Atalanta. Indeed, Atalanta will net €60m plus bonuses from the sale of the former Tigre star, who was acquired 10 months ago from Genoa for €22m plus €3m in bonuses.
Not only does that mean one of Milan’s reported targets has now left the shop window, but Atalanta are now competition for a striker. Several names are on the Bergamo club’s radar, ranging from Lorenzo Lucca (Udinese) to Giacomo Raspadori (Napoli) to Daghim (Salzburg).

Milan looking at other names
In the meantime, Milan are also continuing their pursuit of a centre-forward. The spotlight is on Dusan Vlahovic (Juventus), who could become a low-cost option in the coming weeks.
Victor Boniface (Bayer Leverkusen) and Rasmus Hojlund (Manchester United) are two alternative names that are being looked it, with asking prices that are yet to be discovered.
Hojlund is a relatively new name to enter the frame. He went to United in the 2023 summer transfer window for a figure of £72m including bonuses (€83m, via Sky) and has so far scored just 14 league goals for them across two seasons.
The paper adds that Rafael Leao, however, will not be on the market after an offer from Bayern Munich in the region of €60m was rejected. Instead, Allegri will build the attack with him as a leader.

These stories get more ridiculous by the day. Il Giorno? Really?
Il Giorno is a very reliable source. So reliable that nobody is reading it. But since this article is written by Oliver it doesn’t really surprise me that it ended up here.
Tare is just a bastard for for Mentioning Jackson and Hojlund in our transfer… Can he explain why he is going for only flops? What’s wrong with this man… This man should leave Milan immediately
yeah Ricci, Modric and Jashari deals were a fluke lol…
profile > current state
we don’t have money or resources to go for Gyokeres… hence Pulisic-like players are looked at… Puli I thought would have been the sub for Chukwueze but a 20M signing became central for us and we finally got a RW that could match Leao in quality… I am confident in Tare and Allegri duo, they actually know what they are doing
Instead of taking every opportunity to bash Tare, read from which source this article is taken from. Who are you to ask his explanation for how he does his job? Take your pills and calm the f down.
Hojlund isn’t a bad option maybe EPL doesn’t suite him. He knows Serie A league.
Just try pavlidis….
Nah, I don’t think this has any truth to it. Hojlund and Jackson are players for Genoa or Bologna, none of them proved they can do it at a higher level.
Let’s hope we have a good eye and get someone that can actually help out current predicament.
At this point we should have just kept Jovic and Camarda smh. Invest the money somewhere else.
Hojlund is the victim of ManU that ruins players.
His amortization on the €83m cannot be low enough to take the risk Milan can get him back on track. Too bad because he certainly had more potential than Zirkzee.
