Mediaset: AC Milan interested in Turkey international linked with Arsenal and Man Utd

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are interested in the idea of signing Roma winger Cengiz Under during the January transfer window, another report has claimed.

With Suso possibly on the way out and the switch of formation to a 4-4-2, Milan are looking to reinforce in the wide areas in January.

Matteo Politano appeared to be the primary target for the Rossoneri, however he is closing in on a move to Roma as Inter have agreed a swap deal which will see them receive Leonardo Spinazzola.

However, Di Marzio reported on Tuesday night that Cengiz Under is a player who is ‘tempting’ to Milan, but that Roma are reluctant about the idea of letting the Turkey international leave.

The Giallorossi would apparently ‘only evaluate his possible transfer for certain figures’ – which coincides with La Gazzetta dello Sport’s previous report stating that he is rated at €50m.

According to the latest from SportMediaset – as cited by MilanNews.it – there is a lot of focus currently on sales at Casa Milan, but the club are still trying to land signings too.

They confirm Di Marzio’s report by claiming that Under – who has one goal in 11 appearances this season – is indeed a potential target for Milan despite his high potential price tag.

The 22-year-old has also been linked with Manchester United, Arsenal and Spurs recently in the Premier League.
