Mediaset: Belgian forward tops Milan wishlist but Serie A star is also of interest

By Euan Burns -

Belgian forward Lois Openda from Lens is the player at the top of Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara’s wishlist right now but there is a player from Serie A who is also gathering interest, a report claims.

As has been reported by Sport Mediaset (via Milan News), Openda is the player that Milan are really keen to add to their attacking line this summer.

As well as the Lens player, though, the name of Arthur Cabral is gathering pace. The Fiorentina striker has impressed more and more as the season has gone on.

The Brazilian striker joined Fiorentina in the summer of 2021 from FC Basel and struggled in his first campaign. This season, he has scored 16 goals across all competitions.

It is believed that Cabral would cost at a very minimum €25 million, but La Viola may well ask for more than that. That could make him a more expensive option than Openda.

  1. I don’t like any strikers we are linked with. Especially cabral. Less goals than giroud so what’s the point of having him? We need somebody who can guarantee 15+ goals a season

  2. Piatek got better record in his 1st season in Italy, where is he now?
    get consistent goal scorer please..
