AC Milan have gone cold on the idea of signing Francesco Acerbi from Lazio despite recent reports and instead are focusing on a PSG defender.
According to what Claudio Raimondi told SportMediaset (via MilanNews), a possible return to Milan for Acerbi has currently stalled because the Rossoneri management are probing other tracks that offer more guarantees than the 34-year-old.
There is a strong interest in signing Abdou Diallo, a Senegal international who is set to leave PSG this summer. Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara already tried to sign the 26-year-old in January, but in the end the player remained in the French capital.
Now Milan would like to sign him on a loan with option to buy deal, while PSG would like some more certainty regarding a future sale and therefore would like to make it an obligation to buy. The dialogue between the parties is open and continues.
