Mediaset: Juventus meet with agent of Udinese star as Milan and Fiorentina watch on

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus have reportedly met with the agent of Udinese playmaker Rodrigo De Paul, a player who has been recently linked with Milan.

In the last transfer window, the Rossoneri spoke with the Argentine’s agent Agustin Jimenez and Calciomercato.com reported that the management consider De Paul to be one of their priority targets for the summer.

De Paul has a contract expiring in 2024, although Udinese will not hold him back if the right offer comes in.

According to SportMediaset (via MilanLive), the Juventus management met Augustin Jimenez – agent of the Argentine attacking midfielder – on Wednesday morning to understand the feasibility of the operation.

Udinese are asking for €30-35m which the Bianconeri want to lower, with Milan and Fiorentina mentioned as having an interest too. Currently, the former Valencia man earns around €800,000 net per season and wants a big pay rise.

Juve’s excellent relations with Udinese could play in their favour, as could the potential of involving counterparts in the negotiations.
