Mediaset: Milan looking to armour their defence – two crucial renewals are close

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan intend to reward two of their best young defenders with a contract extension and a pay rise, according to a report.

SportMediaset (via MilanNews) have provided an update about the renewal situations concerning Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu, who established themselves as an unbreakable centre-back pairing during the final stretch last season as the Rossoneri conceded just 2 goals in the last 11 games.

There is no urgency, but Milan want to reward Tomori and Kalulu after their extraordinary work by giving both of them a contract renewal, with both currently under contracts that are expiring in 2025.

Tomori earns €2m net per season and the Englishman could soon go up to €3.5m with a year extension until 2026, while the Frenchman will also extend his agreement with Milan and will go from €500k per season to €1.5m. Milan ended the season with the joint-best defence in the league, and now they want to armour it.
